The Homecoming Collection

The Homecoming Collection is inspired by my own "coming home" to line drawing. Visualizing what's in front of me with line drawing is what comes most naturally to me as an artist — it's where I feel the most creative freedom, the most at home.

Feeling at home is hard for me to put into words. For when words fall flat, these colors tell my story. Each painting is named after the paint color that inspired their creation. These analogous color palettes felt like a deep exhale. Peaceful, yes, but leaving room for the bold, unpredictable way flowers carry color and light.
